Honeywell AMX series Direct Connect reduces water heater installation time as the cold and hot port position eliminates the need for typical elbows and tees. New design requires a maximum of just two sweat connections. Requires fewer parts than previous models.
- Designed to be directly installed on water heater hot outlet port
- Offers constant water temperature under changing operating conditions
- Temperature is adjustable using 3/16 allen wrench and if cold water supply is interrupted, flow reduction occurs in seconds
- Features brass/stainless construction and Teflon coated of wear surfaces
- Alternate hot port bypasses hot water directly from the tank to non-mixed temperature applications
- Maximum safe operating pressure 150 psi
- Operating temperature range (F)33 degree F to 80 degree F (cold water inlet); 100 degree F to 212 degree F (hot water inlet)
- Minimum flow rate (GPM) 0.25 GPM; recirculation port: 1/2 in. NPT; alternate hot port: 1/2 in. NPT
- Fluid temperature (F) mixed water supply--100 degree F to 145 degree F
