Back to School Tips

Prepare for Return to School

From touch-free products to personal protective equipment, we have what you need to prepare your learning environment for the return of students.

Tips for Reopening Schools1

The CDC offers the following considerations for ways schools can help protect students and staff.

  • Support healthy hygiene by providing adequate supplies, including soap, hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol, paper towels, tissues, disinfectant wipes, cloth face coverings and no-touch/foot-pedal trash cans.
  • Teach and reinforce use of cloth face coverings. Face coverings should be worn by staff and students and are essential when physical distancing is difficult.
  • Teach and reinforce handwashing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and increase monitoring to ensure adherence among students and staff.
  • Post signs in highly visible locations that promote protective measures and describe how to stop the spread of germs.
