SupplyWorks offers a full range of professional services to ensure the successful application and rollout of our solutions in every customer environment. Staffed by industry veterans with years of experience in manufacturing solutions, the SupplyWorks professional services department is dedicated to working with our customers to drive success. There are four major areas in which the SupplyWorks professional staff can add significant value to the resources provided by our customers:
- Project Management
- Business Process Assessment (BPA)
- System Planning and Design
- Application Set Up and Implementation
Project Management
- SupplyWorks professionals are prepared to work with you from beginning to end to ensure success across your entire project. SupplyWorks has demonstrated a unique ability to deliver projects consistently on time and within budget, while meeting demanding customer business requirements.
- SupplyWorks' proven implementation methodology will help you guide the project from Assessment through to Production Implementation, Monitoring and Ongoing Systems Management.
- SupplyWorks will introduce qualified partners as necessary to execute deliverables that fall outside the scope and expertise that SupplyWorks offers, but in all cases we maintain our “single point of contact” philosophy.
Business Process Assessment (BPA)
- Working with your own internal business experts, SupplyWorks will map out and document critical business objectives, review current capabilities, and clarify where the most rapid payback can be realized.
- A critical measure of success is return on investment (ROI). SupplyWorks professional staff will work directly with each client organization to build a framework for monitoring and measuring actual return on investment.
- The SupplyWorks team will help you identify key business parameters, performance indicators and metrics, to monitor project progress and measure its successful completion.
System Planning and Design
- Results of the Business Process Assessment phase will be leveraged to develop a phased approach to bringing users, plants, and suppliers online. SupplyWorks professionals will also advise you on how to extract data from your existing systems in the most straightforward and robust way.
- SupplyWorks rollouts are typically phased, beginning with support at a single plant, for a select set of users and subset of suppliers. SupplyWorks staff will work closely with the sponsoring organization to decide which user populations should be brought online in which timeframes, and how best to train and transition each group.
- SupplyWorks professional services typically include defining and documenting business rules and key business processes to insure productive application of the technology. These services generally encompass strategies for connecting with suppliers and interfacing with legacy, ERP, MRP and other systems.
- SupplyWorks will apply its expertise in procurement and replenishment strategies to review your inventory replenishment strategies and execution. Explicit recommendations will be made to optimize, as appropriate, inventory management and related cost issues.
Application Set Up and Implementation
- SupplyWorks professional staff will configure the solution to reflect information gathered and insights learned during earlier phases. Administrative functions (user IDs, role definitions, etc.) will be established to reflect desired operational and procedural requirements.
- Integration (direct or flat file) with back-end systems will be developed. Suppliers will be integrated to the system based on available technology at the supplier and level of integration you desire to implement.
- System and operations testing begins in a stand-alone environment, followed by continued testing and monitoring in the production environment.
