"We are thrilled to have recruited Dave Wangler to SupplyWorks' management team to help us scale the business as interest in direct materials supply management software takes off," said Herrmann. "Dave has substantial experience and a proven track record of success in growing manufacturing software businesses, both organically and through acquisition. Having established SupplyWorks as an early stage leader in the category, we hope to leverage Dave's experience and skills to rapidly expand the business, establish a global presence, and grow SupplyWorks into a sizable and sustainably profitable company that owns the category."
Wangler added, "SupplyWorks has a strong product offering and an experienced management team already in place. This combined with the need for discrete manufacturers to better manage their supply of direct materials creates a very compelling value proposition. The company's flagship product, SupplyWorks MAX, has been in production use at major manufacturers for over two years, and has demonstrated the ability to deliver quick time to value and substantial return on investment. I am excited to be working with the SupplyWorks team and look forward to capitalizing on the company's strengths to achieve the next level of growth."
